TA DA! ENTRELAC!

I was so inspired by Judy's knitting on the Entrelac Socks from the new Spring issue of Interweave Knits I decided to give entrelac a try. I googled "knitting entrelac tutorial" and found a great tutorial -nice clear instructions, with great pictures. Here's what I have so far ....

I know the colors are bad, but I learned something new! I love my ugly little entrelac swatch!

Rock on with your bad-ass knitting self! Very cool! So I take it you will be knitting the entrelac socks, yes?

damn, I have a really talented sister! I've been spending my time cross stitching. Your stuff is SO much cooler. I looked and looked for a drop spindle for you in Cairo. I trekked to the wool souk but people don't use manual ones anymore. I had a horrible time explaining what I was looking for, and in the process of explaining it it looked like I was looking for a hand job. I'm going to Oman soon, maybe will have more luck there!
much love!

Yay for entrelac!! Your swatch is be-a-u-tiful! And thank you soooo much for the Turkish cast on instructions. Soooo much easier than the one in Interweave. I felt like the biggest clutz!!

and by the way...you are a very smart little ewe...and you have a very cute laugh!!! HEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHE!!!!

Hey Girl,

Entrelac is way easier than it looks. I always urge people to try it. I love the look it creates, and is so worth it. Your swatch looks good to me.
